Jorge Flores Valds is one of the main characters in the history of science in Mexico, from institutions like UNAM (Autonomous University of Mexico), SEP (Secretariat for Public Education) and FCE, he has created, directed and strengthen projects such as the Universum museum, the National System of Researchers or the collection of scientific dissemination Science for All. The book is arranged in 225 brief chapters, these memoirs go through the personal and professional life of this Mexican physicist, and show at the same time the development of science in the postcardenista period until the first five years of the XXI century, becoming an essential reference for documenting and understanding the science of nowadays in Mexico.
