This book, constituted by four central chapters, presents a detailed and exhaustive historical analysis of the process of creation and formalization of republican democracy in Cuba. The origins are exposed, distinguished by the participation of officers, soldiers and corporals from very different economic and social spheres; the political figures or main turning points that gave place to the possibility of change in the political system; the rules agreed between parties for the multiple elections, and the agreements and measures taken by them.
